Come and visit us at the Musson Lane Gallery this Saturday, 14th of May from 10am-4pm. 

It’s a great opportunity to appreciate some local creativity and purchase beautiful original art and lovely hand made gifts for yourself, friends and family.

We have unique local paintings, pottery, jewellery, resin crafts and more.

Our current featured artist is James Paciullo, and we have over 100 works from our members to view. You can also meet some of the artists on duty and join in with your local art community!

MTAS Gallery May Feature Artist – James Paciullo

May Feature Artist – James Paciullo

We are very pleased to have James Paciullo as our Feature Artist at Musson Lane Gallery for the month of May. 

James’ appreciation for art began as a child. His primary school subscribed to a weekly magazine and James always looked forward to seeing the feature artworks in each edition. 

After high school, James worked full-time while studying nights to complete his art certificate at Meadowbank Tafe. The head teacher was Jocelyn Maughan, and to this day she is still his favourite artist. 

One of his first jobs was a carpet designer for Pacific Carpets, which lasted until they moved to Melbourne. James later used his artisitc talents in tiling for 30 years and ran a succesful business called “Superior Bathrooms”.

Upon retirement, James took up oil painting full-time. He has diverse interests and paints a wide variety of subjects. James is continually deepening his expertise and is keen to produce more artworks. 

Come and visit to view James’ beautiful array of artworks this Saturday, 14th May from 10am-4pm. Social distancing and Covid safe practices are in place at our Gallery.

MTAS Open Day – Wed, May 4th 2022

MTAS Open Day
Wednesday, May 4th 2022
From 10am – 4pm

We have our Art Group Open Day, this 4th May from 10am to 4pm.

You can enjoy the company of fellow art enthusiasts, bring a project, art, craft, or any hobby.
You can watch or paint along with our DVD collection as well.

Members and guests are welcome.

We have COVID Safe measures and social distancing in place.

Please bring your own food. We have tea, coffee, etc an oven and a microwave in our kitchen.

Our next Open Day is the 18th of May 2022.

Reminding all that our next Open Day is tomorrow Wednesday, 20th April from 10am to 4pm.

Come and join us for the company of fellow art enthusiasts, bring a project, art, craft, or any hobby.

MTAS Gallery April Feature Artist – Gloria Galvin

April Feature Artist – Gloria Galvin

We are very pleased to have Gloria Galvin as our Feature Artist at Musson Lane Gallery for the month of April. 

Gloria is a Life Member of the Macquarie Towns Art Society, and a past member of the Royal Art Society. She works in oil and watercolour, and has demonstrated for a variety of Art Societies in both mediums. She also has taught workshops in oil and watercolour and enjoyed teaching art classes in oil.

Gloria’s inspiration and motivation come from painting with friends Plein Air around the Hawkesbury and surrounding districts. 

She has won many awards in a variety art shows 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Highly Commended.

These awards were achieved at the Hawkesbury Show, Sydney Royal Easter Show, Art of Sydney Awards, Macquarie Country Award, Camberwell Rotary Art Show, The Coal and Aliied Singleton Art Show, and other art shows in New South Wales and Victoria.

Come and visit to view Gloria’s beautiful array of artworks this Saturday, 16th April from 10am-4pm. Social distancing and Covid safe practices are in place at our Gallery.
