MTAS Spring Exhibition – Opening Night This Friday, 20th October 2023

MTAS Spring Exhibition
From 20th – 22nd October 2023

The Opening night for our fabulous Annual “Spring Affair” Exhibition is on Friday, 20th October, 7.30pm at the Richmond School of Art, Murray Wing, March Street, Richmond.

It will continue until Sunday, 22nd October from 10am to 4pm.  All Free Entry.

This is an Open Exhibition with prizes in all seven sections of artwork together with Best in Show and People’s Choice awards. 

There will be artworks in a variety of media eg. oil, acrylic, watercolour, and other mediums painted as watercolour, drawing including ink, charcoal and pencil, pastel, printmaking, contemporary and mixed media plus also a small paintings category.

Come and see over 130 artworks from popular local artists, such as John Shields, Gloria Galvin, Yvonne West, Jeanette Starr, Deidre Morrison, Mark Wilson, Sue Kennedy, Virginia Wheatley, and many more.

All artworks will be for sale.  Various handmade crafts, jewellery, resin works, pottery, and handmade cards will also be on sale.

A wonderful opportunity to do some early Christmas shopping!  Buy gifts for your family and friends or just spoil yourself with a special piece of art or handmade craft.

MTAS Spring Exhibition

MTAS Annual Spring Affair 2020
Continues this Saturday, 31st Oct, 7th & 14th Nov

Our ‘Spring Affair’ Exhibition so far has been a wonderful showing, with a good turn out over last weekend. The show continues for the next 3 Saturdays, so make sure you get to see it.

Reminder: Entries Close for MTAS Annual Spring Affair

MTAS Annual Spring Affair – Entries Close
This Friday, 2nd October

Reminding all that the entries for the MTAS Spring Affair 2020 will close on Friday, 2nd October

Only Medium and Small works for this exhibition $10 per entry. We will have 3 sections: Traditional, Non-Traditional and Small Paintings 9″x5″ or smaller inc Miniatures.

Awards – 1st $200, 2nd $100 plus Highly Commended and Commended in each section. A ‘Best in Show’ will also be awarded.

Entry Forms need to be received by 2nd of October and can be mailed to PO Box 1058, Richmond NSW 2753 or dropped in person to Musson Lane or Richmond Art Supplies.

Delivery of Paintings is 17th October 9-11am.

This Spring Exhibition is open to MTAS members.

We will not have an official opening event for this exhibition due to number limits at the venue however we do hope to see you through the duration of the show with your family and friends with covid safe practices in place.

MTAS Annual Spring Affair
25th – 27th October 2019

The Annual Spring Affair for the Art Society of the Hawkesbury is on again!

The opening is Friday 25th October 7pm at Richmond School of Arts, Cnr of West Market and March St Richmond, and will continue Saturday 26th 10am – 7pm & Sunday 27th 10am – 4pm.

Featuring works of local members including Gloria Galvin, Frank Hodgert, Leanne Jones, Kym Morris, Marcia Rea, Deidre Morrison, Chris Seale, John Shields, Jeanette Starr, Narelle Ward, Yvonne West, Virginia Wheatley and more.

There will be more than 130 works on display and a wonderful array of craft. Perfect to start your Christmas shopping and see the beautiful Hawkesbury region.

It is Free entry to the Exhibition so bring your family & friends to see the show.
