We are very pleased to advise that MTAS has shown well in the Combined Art Societies of Sydney Art of Sydney Awards this year. Around 435 paintings were entered and MTAS artists were successful in Sections 2,3,4 and 5.
Gloria Galvin was the Winner of Section 2, Water Medium, with her painting ‘Collector’s Corner’ and Joy Myers Creed won Section 3 Drawing and Mixed Media with ‘Comfortable Connection’. Other awards were to Julie Simmons, Penelope Oates, Deidre Morrison, Kym Morris, Patricia Latta and Mellissa Read-Devine.
