The meeting is on Tuesday, 14th Feb, 7:30pm at the Stan Stevens Room, Deerubbin Center Windsor. Come along to see Kristine’s beautiful work in action.

Cost is $5 at the door. Supper is provided and please remember to park outside due to early car park closure.
About Kristine Ballard:
Kristine Ballard’s work is driven by colour. Selective colour palettes and disintegrated shapes define the unique style she calls ‘Fragmatism’ where images float, dissolve and fragment across the canvas, and beauty is often camouflaged. Deconstructed shape and reconstructed colour is always the focus of her work.
Specialising in still life and landscape paintings, Ballard works at creating the atmospheric colour harmonies inspired by real life experiences.
She has exhibited both nationally and internationally and has completed art residencies at the world-renowned Art Students League of New York and also in Venice. In Australia, at Monsalvat and at the Mornington’s historic Police Point Residency.
She has an upcoming residency in France this July. Kristine’s artwork has also been licensed for fabric collections and art cards. She has a full schedule of art shows booked for 2023 featuring the Affordable Art Show and a solo show in October.
Kristine is also an experienced art facilitator, having run an Art School for twelve years and been the Arts presenter of EdTV Australia.
She creates and directs many art functions, workshops, art mentoring programs, and art retreats. She specialises in demystifying the art process and helping students develop their own unique style.

Musson Lane Gallery November Feature Artist – Sheila Sharp
We are delighted to show Sheila Sharp as our feature artist at Musson Lane Gallery for the month of November.
Sheila didn’t study art at school, her family was musical. However, as a child, she visited many Cathedrals, Historic Houses and Art Galleries in England and those enriched her visual memory.
After her 40th birthday, she went to Oil Painting classes at the local Community College and joined the Macquarie Towns Arts Society. At a lino printing workshop, she fell in love with carving and creating black-and-white relief printmaking.
Sheila particularly liked making prints of buildings where she had to depict textures, foliage and the juxtaposition of two ‘black areas.’
At the Nepean TAFE Printmaking courses, she was taught non-toxic Aluminium Plate Etching. She loves the technical aspect of carefully timing the plate’s exposure to the solution, creating shading in her works, then inking and wiping off before intaglio printing with the HCAW etching press.
Sheila finds Printmaking constantly fascinating.
Visit us at the Musson Lane Gallery to view Sheila’s artworks and over 100 works from our members as well.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
The address is Unit 2, 1 Musson Lane, Richmond, NSW 2753.
