Musson Lane Gallery Open
Saturday, 26th March
10am – 4pm

The MTAS Gallery at Musson Lane is open this Saturday, 26th March 10am-4pm.

Come and visit your local hub of creativity. We have recently had a change over for some of our art and craft works.

Our current featured artist is Margaret Cooper, plus we have lots of beautiful original art and lovely hand made gifts for yourself, friends and family.

It’s a great opportunity to appreciate some local creativity and purchase unique local paintings, pottery, jewellery, resin crafts and more.

We have over 100 works from our members to view and you can also meet some of the artists on duty and join in with your local art community!

We look forward to seeing you this Saturday!

Monthly Demonstration Meeting
with Mellissa Read Devine
 7.30pm 12th April 2022 – Print Making

We are looking forward to having Mellissa Read Devine back with us for our next meeting demonstrating Print Making on Tuesday, 12th April 2022, 7:30pm at the Stan Stevens Studio in Windsor. Come along or join us online to see Mellissa’s beautiful work in action.

CovidSafe practises will be in place.

Both members and non members are welcome to join our meetings to view an inspirational artist at work each month, as well as the opportunity to enjoy networking with like-minded art enthusiasts.

If attending in person, please remember to park outside as the car park closes early.

About Mellissa Read Devine:

Mellissa has studied & practised printmaking and painting continuously for the past 21 years and is a recipient of many prizes and awards. Her artwork is part of many private and public collections around the world.

Living in rural Sydney overlooking the Hawkesbury River, Mellissa’s work ranges between vibrant interpretations of her local landscape to intricate wood & linocuts. Her combination of quirkiness and calm blend to create works with a strong spiritual base.

She is an Associate of the Royal Art Society of NSW, and also travels around the world to teach art enrichment workshops.

Musson Lane Gallery Back OPEN This Saturday!
19th March, 10am – 4pm

Our MTAS Gallery at Musson Lane is Back Open this Saturday, 19th March 10am-4pm. After being closed for 2 weekends the flood waters have subsided, we are drying out and looking forward to opening up our Gallery again this coming Saturday!

Musson Lane Gallery Change Over going ahead tomorrow – 14th March 9am-12n

Hello Members,

PLEASE NOTE: The changeover day for the Musson Lane Galley general exhibition will still go ahead tomorrow, Monday 14th March between 9am-12noon. If you can get there to change over your works please contact Maryanne on 0428 441 437 to let her know that you will be coming.

Please bring a list of the works you are bringing in to hang with the measurements noted on it. If you are unable to bring your works in that day please contact Maryanne to arrange a mutually agreeable time to do so, preferably before that date. We are keen to make sure that if you want to hang works we will make it happen.

Please contact Maryanne our Gallery Manager on 0428 441 437  for any further inquiries.

MTAS Open Day
Wednesday, 2nd March
10am – 4pm

We have our next Open Day on Wednesday, 2nd March from 10am to 4pm.

Come enjoy the company of fellow art enthusiasts, bring a project, art, craft, or any hobby.
You can watch or paint along with our DVD collection as well.

Members and guests are welcome.

We have COVID Safe measures and social distancing in place.

Please bring your own food. We have tea, coffee, etc an oven and a microwave in our kitchen.

MTAS Gallery Feb Featured Artist – Frank Hodgert

Our MTAS Gallery Featured Artist
This Month is Frank Hodgert

We are very pleased to show Frank Hodgert as our feature artist at Musson Lane Gallery for February. Come view Frank’s beautiful array of artworks on Saturdays from 10am-4pm. 

Frank is an award winning artist, having won many prizes over the years at the Hawkesbury Show for example. He was also the featured artist at the Portland Art Show last year. 

He has had an interest in painting and drawing since childhood and has taught art as well as many workshops and demonstrations.

His outlet in his early days was as a colour etcher in photo engraving and lithography, which is a part of the printing trade, as well as working in the graphic arts industry.

His articles are also published in Australian Artist’s Magazine & Artist’s Palette magazine. 

Over the years he has attended many workshops to hone his skills and has won many awards for his work. Working brilliantly in many mediums, Frank never fails to show his wonderful skills through his paintings. 

Frank describes his style as traditional impressionistic. 

Social distancing and Covid safe practices are in place at our Gallery.
