About Jeanette Starr:
Originally from Yorkshire England, Jeanette worked as a graphic artist/photographer before venturing to Australia in her 30’s to live on acreage.
She is well known for her love of horses and her beloved subjects are never too far away. She loves painting all animals and portraits alike and is happy to do commissions.
Jeanette draws and paints in various mediums but particularly oils, acrylics, inks and charcoal. She works from her Little River Art Studios where she holds workshops and exhibitions.
She is also a member of the Hawkesbury Artists and Artisans Trail. She often successfully win awards at the Hawkesbury Show, MTAS exhibitions and other shows.

Hawkesbury Show 2024 Entries Close – Tuesday, 2nd April
Entries are closing very soon for some of the pavilion sections for the Hawkesbury Show 2024.
The annual show runs from 19th -21st April 2024, with the Open & Open Junior Art, Photography and all Craft sections closing on Tuesday, 2nd April 2024 at 4.00pm.
For those who are planning to submit artwork, please ensure that your entries have been placed by this time online. You can also place paper entries via email or at the showground office. The office is open on Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm.
Hawkesbury Show 2024 MTAS Volunteers Needed for Duty
Hi MTAS Members,
MTAS are the stewards each year for the Art Pavilion and we need volunteers from our Society to do duty. We need people to fill the roster on the following days please:
Friday, 19th April – we need 2 people for each shift: 9am – 1pm 1pm – 5pm 5pm – 9pm
Saturday, 20th April – we need 2 people for each shift: 9am – 1pm 1pm – 5pm 5pm – 9pm
Sunday, 21st April – we need 2 people for each shift: 9am – 1pm 1pm – 5pm
Those who fill the duty positions will receive one free entry ticket on that date of the show.
