Our next Art Group is on Wednesday, 5th April from 10am to 4pm at the Stan Stevens Studio, Deerubbin Centre.

Come enjoy the company of fellow art enthusiasts, and bring a project, art, craft, or any hobby.

Members and guests are welcome. Please bring your own food. We supply tea and coffee.

Our next Art Groups will be on these dates: 19th April, 3rd & 17th May 2023.

Please Note: Starting Wednesday, 19th April we will use the Horse Judges Hut at the Hawkesbury Showgrounds.

Enter by Gate 4 (the carpark gate) and drive taking the 3rd road on the right to take you to the far side of the show ring. The hut is a separate building on the right with some gravel parking. It has a shady verandah with chairs and nearby toilets.

Inside there is air conditioning, fridge, sink, kettle, microwave, tables and chairs. The HDAA are kindly allowing us to use this for $2 per head.

Our next Open Days will be on these dates: 5th & 19th April 2023.
The Art Group for 5th April will be held at the Stan Stevens Studio, Deerubbin Centre, but after that, they will be at the Hawkesbury Showground.

We have not yet secured a new home, so we will keep using the Deerubbin Center in Windsor and other locations such as the Richmond School of Arts.

Monthly Meeting & Demonstration 13th November – Chris Seale – Acrylic Bushland with Creek

We are very happy to have Chris Seale with us to demonstrate Acrylic Painting of a ‘Bushland with Creek’ scene at our next monthly meeting Tuesday 13th November, 7:30pm at the Stan Stevens Studio, Deerubbin Centre, George St, Windsor.

Chris Seale is known for her unique style, creativity and inspiration that she brings to the art world.

She is particularly known for her beautiful contemporary-impressionistic bush, land and seascapes. Chris has many feature articles in the Australian and International Artist Magazines, and has been acclaimed for works in all mediums. Her work is well represented in many private and corporate collections around the globe.

Over the years, Chris has developed a myriad of unique techniques, had many solo and joint exhibitions; is privileged to have been frequently requested as artist in residence and has also presented numerous live demonstrations at various art events.

Both members and non members are welcome to join us for our meetings to view an inspirational artist at work each month, as well as the opportunity to enjoy networking with like-minded art enthusiasts.

Entry is $5 for MTAS members and visitors (includes supper)
